DEEP WAVE

BRAND DESIGN, SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN, PRINT DESIGN

The Project

Deep Wave is a veteran-owned red light therapy business focused on making red light treatments feel more accessible, relaxing, and affordable. Their identity needed to communicate both credibility and comfort, without falling into the overly sterile or clinical look common in wellness. Every part of the design was crafted to feel soothing and supportive, while still standing out in a growing, science-backed industry.

Deep Wave's Brain

Every brand has a brain: its own personality, perspective, and way of showing up. The job of the design is to bring that brain to life visually. Here's some decisions we made based on Deep Wave's Brain

Red light waves not water waves

We added a subtle star icon to nod toward red light therapy making it clear this is a red light wave, not a water wave.

Calming not cold

The soft off-white base gives warmth and approachability, helping the brand feel more like wellness than medical treatment.

Bold and trustworthy

The deep red and charcoal pairing creates a strong, grounded feel and adds enough edge to grab attention without losing trust.

The Colour Palette

We chose colours that reinforce the experience Deep Wave offers: red for strength and healing, charcoal for a modern edge, and warm white to suggest calm and ease.

Together, they signal both professionalism and care which is exactly what’s needed for a treatment that’s personal, physical, and science-led.

I enjoyed every part of this process! The designs are exactly what I was looking for and now I’m excited to show Deep Wave to the world. I came out of the project with a much more targeted approach to my business.
