The Project

Bas & Boo is a premium cat-sitting business that puts care, communication, and trust at the heart of everything. The service is designed exclusively for cats,  not as an afterthought to a dog-centric agency.

The goal for this project was to create a brand identity that felt fun while clearly reflecting their values: thoughtful attention to detail, connection, and reliable premium care.

I could not be more pleased with the Re-Branding Robin did for us at Bas&Boo Ltd. The structure of the process, the well laid out action steps throughout and the final assets delivered were all absolutely excellent. READY TO SEE WHAT A REBRAND COULD DO FOR YOU?

The Colour Palette

The founder's requested green and pink tones were refined to create a pairing that feels unique but prioritised accessibility. We introduced a deeper green to bring balance and professionalism, while the darker pink added warmth and energy.

A light neutral tone was used in place of stark white, making the palette feel more friendly and less clinical. Overall, the colours reflect Bas & Boo’s balance of playful and premium.

Bas & Boo's Brain

Every brand has a brain: its own personality, perspective, and way of showing up. The job of the design is to bring that brain to life visually. Here's some decisions we made based on Bas & Boo's Brain

Warm and Professional

We chose a clean, modern font with curved edges to make the brand feel trustworthy but welcoming. It's polished enough to stand out from corporate competitors while still feeling personal and friendly.

Personal over Polished

The ampersand in the logo includes a heart shape to represent care at the core of the service & aligning with the hands on  involvement.

Unique Selling Point

We avoided obvious cat imagery to keep it feeling elevated. Instead, we used visual cues to express the brand’s focus &  no cheesy icons.
