Sharing your design work online isn't for everyone
Designers are feeling hesitant to share their work online, mostly due to fears of being seen as unoriginal or judged by the people who see the work.
It's common to feel like if an idea is already done then why bother sharing your own work. But a lot of us face these feelings. An important thing to remember is everyone faces some kind of judgement, and you have to be okay with that. Not every single person who sees your work is going to love it, but it's worth it for the chance for your work to be seen by the right people.
Social media isn't a miracle worker when it comes to marketing and it definitely is not for everyone. There are other ways to market your business.
Sharing yourself, your work and your face/voice online can be intimidating but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. If privacy or safety is a genuine concern then it's better to look at other options. But if the only thing holding you back from marketing your business online is that you don't feel good enough to do it, do it anyway.
